The new Chinese all-electric supercar ‘LeSee’ is supposed to take on the Tesla Model S in the near future. The ‘LeSee’ supercar from Chinese start-up ‘LeEco’ enjoyed ample attention from especially the Chinese public at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show.
Despite the fact that the Chinese concept car makes a futuristic impression in its sterile white color, it was declared that a similar version of this concept car is going into production soon. Ultimately the ‘LeSee’ electric supercar should be a completely connected and smart car, capable of fully autonomous driving. The automaker also have plans on offering the car for free when the time is right, and currently focus on additional sources of income such as the content creation and software that will be involved with the Chinese supercar.
Earlier Jia Yueting, co-founder and head of LeEco stated that when their car hits the market it will help China’s auto industry reach the forefront of the global auto sector. LeEco is also working on a car-sharing business that is closely linked to their green car efforts.
